WeathAR is an augmented reality weather app conceptualised and prototyped by myself and two others whilst in our first year of study at the University of Salford.
For this project, we were tasked with prototyping a weather application for mobile devices. In order to set ourselves apart we decided to incorporate am augmented reality feature for users to visualise the forecast in their own environment. We chose to go down the AR route it's an up and coming technology.
Once we had wireframes and concepts as a group I took on the branding and design task creating the app icon, informational graphics and font choices. For a first year university project that had the complications of the start of COVID lockdowns during its time, I'm very happy with what was produced.
